Okay here's the explanation.. <rant + scammed> beware

So hey...
I wasn't going to speak about what happened... because I well... im shy and i dont like people worrying about me. ;w;
But anyways! This got out of hand.
Around a month or two ago. I did a fundraiser along with several artist friends on stream. We streamed for around 12hours + to get the amount of 800usd+
for a heart surgery for me. I have my valves working badly, so i had to get these little thingies that go there so they can function correctly. Well! The thing is
that we spent the stream gifting people who donated a colored sketch PER donation so, some people donated several times trying to exploit the thing
so they could get several drawings but, we stated that is was ONCE/ONE drawing from each artist per donation.
So, okay! Everyone was happy and we got to the point where I had 450usd donated. It was the LAST hour of the stream... When someone donated the rest. 400+usd!
I was going insane! How come someone so nice donate so many money to a cause. That was super cute and amazing.
And this someone, gets the drawings, he replies happily that it was what he wanted all this time. (We knew each other for around 1-2 months prior to the fundraising.)
Anyways!
Time passes, and I had my surgery, spent all my money on it. Around 2000usd+. I sold my computer, my old one, the only one i had to work with...
And now that I am recovering, suddenly, i get a message from this someone ... With the simple text of...
"I will take my money back. For this reason."
(I wont state the reason, because it would be obvious who im talking about.)
I was shocked. So I replied with.
"But, you DONATED the amount. Why would you take it back?" To which he replied. "I'm sorry. I need it." And didn't message back.
In my fear, i went to talk to the artists that helped me, and they all told me the same bullshit.
They where all scammed to work for FREE pictures, FREE fullbodies, FREE sketches, FREE shit.
APART from the sketches he received, he had the damn balls to go and tell the artists WITHOUT TELLING ME..
"It was because of ME that she is OKAY." "It was because of ME that she had her surgery." "It was because of me that she isn't dead."
I was furious. FURIOUS! Cause I thought, he did that to me only. Yeah. He did it to me. He told me "I saved you. Do this for me." And well, he donated a lot, and it was good. So I said.. Why not? He deserves it. BUT I DIDNT KNOW HE WENT TO ALL ARTISTS SAYING THE SAME SHIT.
I was trying to come up with a plan... a way to tell him that i really needed that money...
But...
I was chargedback.
For 500usd.
500USD. !!!!!!!!!
Why 500? CAUSE HE WANTED THE EXTRA BECAUSE APPARENTLY HE "LENT ME" THE CASH. LOL WOT. <- The last message I got. "Ill take it back. Along with interests."
I almost died when I saw it, cause I do not have that money. I worked hard so hard to earn money to eat, to buy my meds, everything.
And now this asshole came into the picture and made a chargeback....
Im so angry and sad about this...
JUST AS I RECUPERATED FROM THE DAMN CARD THING. UGHHHHHHHH.
Now my paypal is in reds...all that I work on... will be to pay that debt. Wow... im.. just.. wow...
I am TRYING to stop the chargeback. But everything seems to go HIS way, cause he's saying on the whole case that I didnt deliver the item. And he wasn't stupid either, he ordered ONLY nsfw. HOW CLEVER IS HE.

Also I recommend always emailing the finished art products to the customers email so that you can have a proof of actually doing the work.

And unfortunatly for you, I didnt see anyting you can do for this situation... maybe a beware? Or maybe try to convince Paypal that he receive all of his pieces he ask for (even if it's nsfw? Okay I know Paypal doesnt like nsfw transaction, but it's a lot of money). And I always thinking the costumer can only reclaim the money after like 10 months with no service +_+ Arrgh a wish I can help you more!!! </3

There's doing good out of kindness, and then there's doing things for your own gain and thinking you're awesome for it.
Report him to the admins, hit up Artistsbeware, and hopefully get this person -OUT- of the fandom. It has enough problems, and it doesn't need someone like that to make things worse.

Don't worry. You CAN NOT be forced to pay this person back because they donated. And donation means that they willingly give money, knowing that they will not get back anything in return. Joke's on him.
Because he marked the money as "Service or item" and he told paypal he didn't receive anything PHYSICAL from me.

This makes me so fucking mad, the fact that someone had the gall to do something like that!
And not only to forcefully charge back the money he DONATED, but to ask for EXTRA??
At the very least, PayPal shouldn't legally be able to refund him any more than the $400 he actually sent you, especially without proof of him sending you anything more than that, because that would be explicit theft.
Any files/screenshots/chatlogs you have are invaluable for trying to get PayPal on your side for this, to prove that he did, in fact, DONATE the money, and even RECEIVED AN ITEM IN EXCHANGE, which he lied to them about.
This is the exact reason why when I send invoices for commissions (I know this is different because it was a donation) I ALWAYS state in the TOS section that it is a pre-paid invoice for a digital file, to cover my own ass so no asshole can try to shit on me with a chargeback, at the very least.
Perhaps using the Ko-Fi website for incoming donations would be better in future? I'm sure that would be marked at a donation/tip instead of a purchase.
I'll note you soon asking about them, if that's okay. I'd like to steer clear from this kind of bullshittery as much as possible.
They basically paid you for art. They got the art.
Now they're trying to SCAM you for it.
I say report & fight against it.

If you have the pictures saved you may be able to use that as proof that you did do the work. But it won't show where you sent it to him, unless you noted it to him on here after, or even during the stream. You could screen shot where you sent him the links for the pictures. That could serve as proof that you sent the work to him.
