My Mom Is Not Well

My mom had a bad tooth pulled a little over a week ago and since then she has been having problems with excessive sinus drainage and raw spots in her throat that choke her to the point of having breathing difficulties and making her gag. Tonight she was feeling a bit better, so decided to treat us all to milkshakes. Well, it appears that was a mistake as she started choking badly after drinking hers and my dad has just rushed her off to the ER room. I am very, very worried. :(

It appears that that, although there was no nasal cavity breach, the tooth extraction caused a sinus storm to happen. Mom is back home and it appears that she also has a head cold, which is causing things to be sensitive even more. Actually, we all might have that as I had two bouts of gagging and choking on sinus last week myself. It seems the heavy, humid air here is partially to blame at night. Even I was hacking tonight after being outside just a few minutes. Thanks.
