Oh, hello!
Is anyone there? :v
I've been working on my head recently. Can't figure out how to attach my jaw or where it separately ^^; I don't have a mannequin head and burned my face with hot glue yesterday trying to figure stuff out, heh. I don't have tape for patterning, so I can't cut out any fur yet.
I really want to make a head with a moving jaw because I'm not great with nonverbal communication (ever) or super comfortable with character acting (yet), and the expression on the head isn't great and isn't doing the talking for me. The best way I communicate in real life is with my words, so I want to be able to speak however clearly a moving jaw allows, with it being obvious I'm speaking. I saw that Beastcub had some type of jaw called an articulated jaw, which was separate from the head somehow (at one point in the video she pulled it right out of the head!) but moved almost perfectly with her jaw when she spoke. I would love to replicate/emulate that. The only issue is my head won't be super fluffy like the tiger head she was wearing, so it would be more difficult to make it work without looking weird.
It's a foam head, which makes things a bit difficult sometimes, but I like it.
