Car accident

I was in a considerable car accident. Living as graveyard shift people having to travel to an affordable dentist during hours that we're usually asleep during got us; I was asleep in the passenger seat and my husband apparently blinked for a second or two too long. No sleeper lines on the highway u_u so we ended up going straight through a guard rail and tumbling down into the forest.

No one else got hurt and honestly we're walking away miraculously well. Especially since the airbags didn't even go off. My worst injury is a strained neck and a sprained foot. It does mean I'll be slow to drawing for a little; I don't wanna make my neck worse.
I'm not really in any sort of shit mood over this since how mad can I be? We should have stopped to nap but the physical cost doesn't even see either of us with a broken bone or scar. Although I am definitely having one of those "I could have died and this would be all that I left behind" kind of cliche moments e3e Don't even know what to do with that right now...
Anyways we're going to have a lot of big costs and I suppose I'm just giving the heads up that I'll be opening commissions soon, likely when I actually know what the medical bills will be like. If you have any particulars you wanna see out of commissions like chibis or shading options or whatever just say so! :)

At the very least, get you and your husband a check up with a local chiropractor, cause accidents like that tend to leave some nasty chiropractic issues.
Anyway, wishing you a speedy recovery! If you open up donations at some point, I'll make sure to drop you a dollar or two. (least I can do since I'm living paycheck to paycheck atm and have experienced something similar before ^-^; )
Yeah, luckily we live in a very senior-citizen town so we wont have to drive far for a chiropractor!
And Kitsunelegend is right. Often when you get into a car accident, you're body is high on adrenaline and only some time later when you cool down do the full extent of injuries show.
