2017 Week 19 – 28 Journal

Hey everybody!
So... Yeah, I really failed with the weekly journals, didn't I? It started just as a delay and eventually turned to “Oh, I'll post a big one next week!”.
Anywhoo, here's a compilation of last two months.
Life
Life was pretty... OK. I can't say much stuff is happening. Mostly everyday up's and down's. Just trying to make a living (with better or worse results), but hey – I'm still alive and kicking!
The transition from spring to summer was a pleasant one. The weather is nice and luckily only a few headache generating thunderstorms! During those two months had a lot of pondering on “stuff”, life matters and other things. My apologies if I'm not too social or hard to talk too. I tend to be all around the place with my thoughts and generally I have a bad habit of not organizing my time well... I'm doing a bit better, but I do need more discipline and organization in my life. Between doing art / work, tending to the house and attending errands – I just loose too much time. Plus when my moods kick in... bleh.
Also yes... I'm now a household doggo. I got more time to actually tend to cooking and cleaning the house. Good exercise to be responsible. Though I mostly cook spaghetti. But it's pretty good!
Other than that life is kinda just life.
Art
First and foremost – I'm sorry if I'm slow with art / catching up with folks. As I mentioned above – I'm trying to manage stuff better, but I do fail sometimes.
Other than that trying to work on comms and the NSF comic. One thing that many of you might noticed is that there wasn't much R34 art. Again – at first I did just bump and delay one, but eventually I did put more effort on working on commissions. It didn't seem like a good idea to jump to sideart while I have other projects on my list. Eventually when I get a bit ahead artwise and stabilize some stuff in RL – I will try to go back to R34 Thursdays!
On the plus side – I feel some stuff in my art is improving. Since some time I'm mostly working on digital pictures, and I did a lot of progress on the techniques and improved some stuff I've been doing. I'm really happy with my linework improving and the shading getting a bit more... glossy. Just hope it will keep getting better and I don't hit a block-spot.
Anywhoo! That's mostly it I think. If something comes to my mind that I forgot – I will update it asap.
