After a few months of trying to decide whether or not I should go as a Furry to Northern Fan Con or if I should dress up as a Pokemon, I've decided to go as my fursona. We have one convention a year in my city and that's Fan Con. We don't get any furry cons or any other cons of any kind so this is really the one and only chance to do something.

My sister who is one of my best friends, disapproves of this. I know she wouldn't cut ties with me if I went ahead with it but her opinion has always mattered to me for as long as I've lived. Well, no more to that. I've spent a good time of my life allowing my family to dictate what I could and could not do, what I can and cannot like. I don't participate in yiffing of any kind but if that's how she wants to see me then so be it cause I can't sit back and not enjoy what I like, hide this part of me and worry what she'd think if I decided to go with it. This is my life, I'm old enough to make my own decisions.

The rest of my family doesn't care. My other friend doesn't care. Why should I care? I want to dress up as Buzz Paw! And heck, it's called Fan Con for a reason. I'm a fan of furries, therefore, I'm allowed to do it.
