So Alex's time at the theater is coming to an end. Think dude has worked for them for like, IDK almost ten years? He is going to start Student Instructing when he goes back to school, and also has some sort of robotics internship thing to work on as well. But beyond this next semester it is sort of up in the air what he is going to be doing for money afterwards. Hopefully, if everything goes well he will be able to get another paid internship. But my job alone is not going to pay rent and all our other bills. I expect he will take care of his moms yard for money, like we're 15 again XD. But that ain't no bill payin money. More like a days worth of meals.
In other news I want to start paint pouring canvas work. Although beyond the internet I'm not sure where I could sell them. If I went through my job, odds are, they would low-ball me and I would end up with "exposure" but not a really much of a profit. Though I can't say for sure. We are sort of like a weird gallery. We do have expensive art pieces, but they aren't paintings, they are glass and have function. Not that I shouldn't try. Gotta make a few before I can say they are sell-worthy. Abstract stuff is so spiritually freeing. No worrying about proportions or even a subject. Just pigments crashing together and spreading over a surface. SO FUN TO MAKE!! Paint is so fun you guys, totally try it. 10/10
I have also been seriously considering putting together a youtube channel. I enjoy the content I've found so far, and I like having a glimpse into other peoples lives without the awkwardness of RL conversations. What it comes down to is acquiring a decent camera and purchasing / learning an editing software. I work on windows and most people use a mac program... But we guna figure it out. Alex even has a few good ideas for his own videos. So like, maybe that will be a thing in the future as well. -shrug- I've been very crafty this year, despite the lack of digital art I've been producing. Kinda having fun with it. n.n
AND today is a hair day. I get to see the second love of my life who I miss and haven't seen FOREVER. Unacceptable! lol but it's OK, she graduated nursing school like a fucking champ and has been workin a bunch ever since. Mad props, so proud!!
Love you guys, thanks for listenin to my ramble. ♥
