Alright so, my computer updated and it literally destroyed pretty much all of my settings? which in turn ruined my bookmarks in paintool sai. Which means I literally cannot use it because I can't save anything that i'm doing, or any changes I make to existing files. I keep getting the error of "folder not exist or access denied" which....what? All of my folders are fine on my computer, everything is working just fine and the folders are in the same place they always were before the update, which to my knowledge hasn't changed the position of these files. Something i've noticed, however, is when I click on the address location bar where it says "folder not exist or access denied", it'll being up the exact location of the file. However I can't access it. As soon as I click away, it goes back to saying "folder not exist or access denied" :\ it doesn't show the files names whenever I open a file either...
I've tried everything and am at a complete loss. I'm glad I was able to get some work done on my queue before this because this is fuckin' nonsense.

I would recommend just literally reinstalling sai but that would be good by to all your brushes
if you can manage to save your setting with some screen shots and then just delete and reinstall that might fix some stuff
Try switching File Viewer mode off. File --> UNCHECKMARK Always Use File Viewer
I switched File Viewer off and while I can view all my art files and folders, I still can't save ;;

As for SAI 2, it seems to be working just fine! I can open and save and save bookmarks without a problem!
I did get this error when I first opened it, however, http://i.imgur.com/c98Hije.png and noticed in the path bar, it has my "Pictures" library labeled twice. I went to check that out and there, for some reason, are two different picture libraries on my computer, one of which I believe wasn't there before? I have a diff version of sai on my computer which doesn't seem to be bothered with the update, and all my bookmarks work fine, but I noticed this: http://i.imgur.com/qcGhBij.png it's only showing the "Pictures" library once, which is the one with all my art folders on it
Maybe try this: Create a new folder and move all your files to that folder and see if SAI can open them

I still have your sketch brush settings if you need those too I think!
If you have a Sai folder, find the Sai App and right click to find "troubleshoot/troubleshoot capability" and it'll troubleshoot the application to work with the updates of the OS. I'd use the "recommended" settings since those work out better. I hope this helps.
If so, and it's in a place like My Documents or Desktop, it sounds like permissions may have gotten messed up on your computer which is a bit of a pain to deal with. Perhaps try running SAI in Administrator Mode (should be able to do that with a right-click on the shortcut) and see if that doesn't allow you to access things.
