I know I've been pretty quiet lately...not much writing has been going on, unfortunately. The reason is that I've either been out of the country or working fifty- to sixty-hour work weeks. I haven't had a true day off in weeks, and let me tell you...it's hard to feel creative after working ten hours a day. The work was fun, mostly, but I'm completely burned out now.


But...

Today was my last day at that job. It's weird to leave what has been an on-again, off-again job for the past seven years, but I'm not gonna lie: I'm free. I have a week off to recover (and trust me, I need it), then I'm moving to Georgia to start work on my PhD. The work there should be a lot less straining, so writing should start picking up again soon. And this reminds me...

You people (especially the ones who know I'm talking about them) better keep in touch...you mean a lot to me, and have for the past sixteen years!

That's all for now...I need some serious R&R after two excruciatingly long weeks.
