Hello to anyone who reads this, today was marked by two important events.

First the good news: Happy Birthday to the US Air Force for all my fellow airman past and present!

Now the more solemn news which is just as if not more important. Today a hero to the world passed away, Lt. Col Stanislov Petrov, may he rest in peace. He gave the world to us all by refusing to launch after receiving a false positive report of a Nuclear Missile Launch from the United States. This one man should be remembered not as a hero to the Soviets, or American but as a hero to all humans. Thank you sir, for your courage and judgement.
