This is how my brain works.
Walking home from doing some shopping and see a woman chuck her sandwhich wrapper into a hedge, which I immediately retrieve and make a sarcastic comment about.
"Too much effort to find a bin, huh?" and she just says "Yea"
I point out that there's a bin down the street *in the direction she was walking that she'd have passed* and she tells me to **** off and walks off with her 5-7 year old son.
Now, here's the messed up part.
It was two hours ago that that happened and my brain is still turning the event this way and that trying to process it. She'll go home and not give a damn one way or another.
But hey, at least the rubbish found its way into the bin. After I put it there.

First She was in the wrong numerous times. No argument at all there.
The second is something I was taught, among many things, to help me deal/cope/work around the sort of thing you're dealing with....
Two monks are walking a road and come across a woman that has hurt her leg.
One picks her up and carries her till they come to a place that can help her.
Still walking the road the second monk finally say to the first "You should never have touched that women."
The first turns to him and say "I set her down hours ago. It is you that is still carrying her."
She's not worth it hon and it's time to let the trash go.
I'll try to keep it in mind, thank you =)
Glad to pass it along. I hope it helps.
