New development: my feet are having issues, starting last friday, and now I'm waking up limping before I even go to work and have to stand for 8 hours. This is fun...halfway through my shift I want to cry and by the end of my shift I'm just so done with the world.... x.xx.x
I got fancy new insoles but they're not really helping. I need to get new sneakers, but money...i need a new job where I'm not on my feet on a tile floor the entire shirt is what I need....

Also, freezing water in a soda bottle and rolling your foot over it every couple hours to help cool down the inflammation. Duct taping two tennis balls together and rolling your foot over that can help stretch out the tendons as well.
There's a few exercises you can do the strengthen and stretch out the lower leg and hamstrings as well. Any stretches you can do can help during flareups.
Hope it gets better for you! It's the change in habits that can be the toughest part! I need to redo my entire computer setup because of a back injury and flareups from it, but I dunno how to handle that yet @_@;;
