Is it stupid to hate art dumps?

Hello, it's me. The Monki!
I appreciate if you have a lot of art you have stored up and want to get it all posted to your account but honestly... it's just overwhelming when i see a thousand notifications of art from the same person, even if I really obsess over their art. It's like saturating the market, is what it feels like for me. It doesn't seem like it would be that hard to space out your submissions. (although it would be nice if FA had some sort of submission queue system to upload stuff and then post them automatically at certain times).
Also, not related, but I hate those posts you sometimes see on tumblr with the whole "ask me one of these 100 things" scenarios for the same reason. That's too much stuff to process for me to appreciate it!

Well, I don't mind art dumps... but I guess that is mostly because I never ecountered any huge ones. I can understand, and I wouldn't want it myself, to be swarmed by submissions.

Badgerben does that and it makes it kinda hard to appreciate each submission on their own.

I can agree with you here. Art dumps are mildly frustrating because they push other pieces down in the flood. If someone uploads something I was really looking forward to near the start of the dump, it can end up off the page entirely at the end.
