[CLOSED] D&D One-Shot on Thanksgiving; signups inside!
EDIT: The picks have been made! Even after bumping the party size up, there are still a bunch of you I need to get into a one-shot at one point, so I apologize to everyone who didn't make it, this time!
Our heroes this time will be:

Hey folks!
Our family's doing Thanksgiving stuff later in the week, but enough of our group is gonna be absent that instead of playing the main campaign, I'm gonna run a goofy little Halloween-themed one-shot that I didn't get to use on Halloween!
The one-shot is designed for five LVL5 players. I'll be selecting those five players using a secret blend of favoritism, class balance, "first dibs", and rotating in players who've been waiting a long time.
Requirements:
- Able to attend the session, which will be on Thanksgiving Day (Thurs, Nov 23) from 6PM-11PM EST.
- Able to use Discord for voice comms (politely!) and Roll20 to actually play the game (it's free, but you'll need an account!)
- Okay with being on stream!
- Able to log in and make a character between the time that I pick participants (probably Tuesday night) and when the game actually starts. Character creation can take anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour, depending on how experienced you are and what class you pick. If you're new to the game, I'll work with you to set your character up.
D&D experience is not required! New players are very welcome to apply - in fact, one of the reasons I like running one-shots is to introduce new players to the game! If you're new, it's probably best that we spend a little time over the next couple of days getting your character set up, going over the basics of combat, and introducing you to Roll20. It's not hard, I promise! Also, you might wanna check out one of our other one-shots so you can get a rough idea of what to expect!
One-Shot Details:
As mentioned, this is a Halloween-themed mission! Brace yourself, it's stupid as fuck.
It's a few days before halloween, and you are a scary monster, a creep, or something that goes bump in the night. Halloween is your big opportunity to show the world that you're the scariest monster of them all, but there's one problem: David S. Pumpkins, and his skeleton army.
For years, David S. Pumpkins has dominated Halloween. Children are terrified of him. Wise men refuse to even utter his name. And to be frank, you and all your monstrous buddies are sick and fucking tired of him hogging the spotlight.
So tonight, you're all going to his haunted tower, where you must fight your way through ten floors of terror and face off against the skeleton king.
This will be a D&D 5th Edition one-shot. As I'm sure you can probably guess, monstrous races and evil characters are highly encouraged! The only stipulation is that your character must be friendly with all of the other characters. No matter how much you want to be the best and scariest monster, you must work with your buddies to kill David S Pumpkins first, before you all backstab each other.
All content from official, published sources will be allowed (including content from Xanathar's Guide to Everything, and [especially] the monstrous races from Volo's Guide to Monsters). A lot of UA content is allowed, too, including Artificer and Mystic. If you're interested in running something homebrew, run it by me and I'll take a look. No promises, but if it's balanced and creative, I might allow it. I tend to play things preeeetty close to RAW, but I might be a bit more fast and loose with this session, since it's a goofy little one-shot. :D

A version of Leviathan, sweet and adorable, loves kids, loves Halloween, really just wants the treasure and doesn't want to kill things. The black sheep of her family of 25, the only one who didn't go to Evil University. And yes, she's a writer so, she's obviously a bard!

I have over a decade of experience, and have run 5e since it came out!
I use R20 weekly.
And I would like to submit a few different concepts so that we can go with the one that fits in best.
WereRat Grapplemonster to grab and pin and bite stuff with.
A warlock dressed as Ash Ketchum who pretends his familiar is a Pokémon.
Dr. Jeckyl-Mr. Hyde situation in a human scientist (alchemist?) who drinks potions to shapeshift into a big lizardman barbarian.

A great deal; I play every Sunday on Roll20.
- What do race/class would you like to play? If you don't know all the races/classes, just give me a rough idea!
A couple of ideas: A stereotypical bara tiger dad dude who is actually a high int evil wizard and is sick of being stereotyped because he likes to work out.
An actual catfolk serial killer.
A human good-aligned necromancer who is sick of her wholesome skeletons, who frequently help the homeless and provide care for the elderly, being lumped in with David S. Pumpkins' skeletons.
My thanks for your consideration.
