I'm Legal =D

Yep. I just turned 21 yesterday (although, at times, I still feel like I'm 16-17).
I had a really good day; We* went to my step-brother's house for a little bit (we were installing new carpet the day before, and was returning to finish what was left), went to the movies (he came with us, which made the trip better), and had a nice dinner together.
My cake (for anyone wondering...or, rather, anyone who actually cares) was actually a cheesecake sampler (which consisted of 3 slices of New York style, Stwaberry Swirl, Triple Chocolate, and Turtle cheesecake), which was shared amongst everyone at the house. (Me, my parents, my (aforementioned) step-brother (who's an entire decade older than me), and my (soon to be) Uncle-in-law)
We then went to the movies and saw Blade Runner 2049...
(this film was amazing. you'll love it even if you've never seen the first one (like me :/))
...The intro had me in chills!
The way the..."intros" of the studios behind the film (Warner Bros., Alcon Entertainment, Sony, & Columbia) visually distort and glitch, followed by the 6 (technically 7) lines of text that effectively summarize both the events of the first film and the setting of this one, accompanied by the orchestra/synth...
*shudder*
It felt like Blade Runner, Total Recall, Aliens, and even Judge Dredd all rolled into one!
((not only that, but I just found out that 2049's intro is deliberately similar to the original's.))
People were right when they said how good this film was.
(simultaneous sequel-done-right/instant cult hit sounds about right)
If you (whoever's reading this) get this movie on DVD, You better have an amazing sound system, because the soundtrack for this film is phenomenal.
(these three videos should give you an idea of both the soundtrack quality and the feel of the overall environment/setting of the film:)

((these gave me chills))
I loved this movie.
The way they handled the sounds, the setting, the music, the actors (and their performance), the visuals...everything....
I'm definitely getting the Blu-Ray!
(and maybe some miniatures...don't judge me!)
And, lets be honest, what other movie has Ryan Gosling getting thrown around by both Dave Bautista And Harrison Ford?
*By we, i'm referring to my parents and i.
(also, totally not making this to replace a journal i low-key cringe every time i see it)
