MFF closing thoughts.

Jegus! A quick weekend just like last year, but I loved every second of it. Met up with a lot of people both old and new, made friends, got to try some new stuffs, got more tat to throw up on my wall, met some of my favorite artists and got to have a surprise visit from Alkali and his group during the Fuzzy Logic escape room.
I also got to beat myself up a bit for not realizing that the skywalk took longer to get to the con center and the Hyatt compared to just crossing the street. Learn something new every day I suppose?
Went to some panels, a few of the writing ones really helped me think and the others were just plain funny or interesting. I loved the fact that we broke a couple of records this year and made so much money to donate to charity.
Beyond that, I loved the dances and I finally got to try flow dancing in public. The ride there and back was dreadful but it's the price you gotta pay I suppose. Still keeping an eye out for any cheaper hotels or motels in the area though. Spending nearly a grand to get there is a bit much I feel. But I loved it nonetheless! Getting to know some of the Iowa Furs from last year really made this trip better as well, I just wish I could have gotten to see them more.
Either way! I look forward to next year and am hoping college, work, and life will be kind enough to let me go. If I'm really lucky I'll keep an eye out for other conventions.
