Wow, that was a thing, there. =D
I'm old and sore and tired, but I had a really good weekend. Broke last year's sales totals (HOW, ZOMG WHY DO YOU PEOPLE LIKE MY ART SO MUCH?!) and will be spending the next week or two buried in homework as a result. Like holy crap, that was INSANE. Once I've had a chance to sleep and get my wind back, I'll be churning out the commissions I owe as quick as I can.
Artist Alley staff are always amazing and I feel so privileged to be part of the team. SUPER excited about what's in the works for next year, and some of the options we're planning to bring to the table for folks. I love that there's always a push to make things better, more streamlined, and overall to serve our massive artist population. The few bumps in the road that we dealt with were sorted out with a minimum fuss, and dear god I love the fact that we don't have to police outlets anymore (because there aren't any!)
Overall I had a great con, and finishing it off with tiki drinks with the AA crew was freaking amazing and I'm glad I went this year.
Thank you SO MUCH to everybody who came by my table to say hi, flip through my prints, and buy/commission stuff. Everyone was wonderful, and I can't wait to do it again next year. =3

Yeah, I feared that people would have thought I was kicked out of artists alley and couldn't be found. Many finally did find me on Sunday, but already blew their budget. "I thought you were gone, so I bought art from X instead this year." In the immortal words of Charlue Brown, "I got a rock".
I got to admit, I do love the new artists alley big time.
