Holy balls this was a great xmas. Honestly with everything that went on the past few weeks and just the rollercoaster that was this year. Today had to have been one of the single best Christmases I have ever had. For one it really did not feel like any holiday to me this year. With all that has been going on I have been very depressed. Even before finding out about the shit with my in laws. So I really was just sort of eh about it this year. But man did things turn around and I am so happy it did. For once my entire family came to dinner ( which has not happened in over 15 years ). For another I got along with my extended family we had some embarrassing things come up but eh its family. But I never really got along with my cousins. Since as silly as it was we were the nerd family and they were the "normal" family. So it was nice being able to get along and talk after so many years.
We would see each other in-between that time but maybe once a year for a birthday dinner or something never anything like Xmas. Even though it was one day it really did feel like the holidays and like i was a kid again. I was also surprised that I got gifts. Honestly with everything that had gone on. I wasn't expecting really anything. I knew Cody had got me a really nice set of watercolors and a Pan for them. But we got a lot of giftcards even Cody was surprised my extended family got him gifts as well * which they have never done in the 9 years we have been dating. My parents always got him a gift but never my extended fam. IF they showed up *
I got a wonderful fuzzy robe. Which is something I have wanted for years just like. Mother fucking candy! OK may not seem like a big deal But every year for xmas I always wanted some holiday candy and never could get it! So this year I got so much candy ;0; I just..... I feel so loved and happy and fuck I needed this today. I got a few more things but I feel like im rambling. So what did you all get for Xmas?
