Starting out... Kinda
I've been drawing on and off since shortly after I became a furry, over a decade ago now.for most of that, I wasn't really trying though. I'd draw one or two pictures, then completely stop for months or even years. I dabbled in didgital art a few times too, but had the same problems with that. Back then, I didn't really know FA existed, so i posted it all on DeviantArt.
Then, a couple of years ago, my mum got me a book - Drawing Fantastic Furries. To my knowledge, she didn't actually know anything about furries at the time, just that I read/wrote about and drew anthro characters. Either way, the book is amazing, and by just going through it, following the steps, I felt like I was actually learning and improving, I think I made it through about 10 drawings in a month or two.
Then I stopped for another 3 years.
I assumed I'd never get the urge to draw again. Then, Furry Amino was plugged on a YouTube video I happened to watch. They said it was a good place to find art, so I figured I'd take a look. Somehow, signing up for Amino made me want to draw, so I did. And I started posting there since DA seems to have issues with my iPad.
That was almost a year ago now, and I've been drawing pretty consistantly that whole time. I'm definitely still improving, but now at least I have some confidence in my art. However, ive also recently had issues where I spent hours drawing full size pictures, only to end up kinda hating them. So, for now, I'm doing minis - just tiny, simple little pictures which take 1-2 hours at most.
So, I think that's this journal caught up with the history of my art. I expect I'll end up posting art as I finish it on Amino, then occasionally dumping several pictures on here at once, but who knows!
Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy my humble additions to furry art, feel free to comment and make suggestions, and if anyone has a request, you can always pm me. I haven't worked up the courage to 'officially' take them yet, but I would consider them, and the worst I'll say is 'no'.
