I love Minnesota, but the cold in January SUCKS big time.
It's always the hardest time of year for me. I'm in constant pain and pretty much fatigued the whole month. We've made this month a little bit lighter schedule-wise as a result. Luckily, since I have Crohn's Disease, I qualify for medical canibis. This means I should be able to manage my pain a lot easier moving forward. My appointment is next week on Tuesday. It's unfortunately going to be expensive and not covered by insurance ( according to my research thusfar... I have Minnesota Care, so, we'll see I suppose. ) I'm looking forward to having medication that won't harm my liver and isn't addictive :P
This past week has also been kind of a haze. We came to the realization that our rabbit was causing my allergy issues. I got welts on my skin, my nose swelled up...and because it's cold and the air is dry...it cracked and bled. It cleared up with the use of benadryl - hence the whole...being in a haze thing heh. As a result, we've had to give our bun bun away. We've decided not to get any pets moving forward. I can't really afford to spend time like that in a benadryl haze again.
I've managed to rearrange my work area though while doing a major apartment cleaning though! I've made space for art again, along with my scanner. :D I'm looking forward to a new year and new art, including art trades!
