Time Keeps on Slippin'

INTO THE FUTUUUUURE.
It does though, this time of year always gets me thinking back. Back to the days of VCL, the day FA came online, the great migration when I and other Elders sailed to the new land of IB following the purge. I've been privileged and saddened to see everything come and go, every website tantrum, artists leaving and coming back, artists leaving for good, and every fantastic and promising new artist arrive.
Every (learned) adult has come to the realisation that all things sort of settle into place given enough time. The furry fandom is no exception. Sure its whinier, louder, more dramatic and a lot wetter than most fandoms ~ but the drama swells and falls as a wave in an ocean now, rather than in a pond.
Noooo its not the beginning of a new year that makes me feel this way.
ITS MY BIRTHDAY
On February 9th I will be 35 and for the record it will have been about 22 years since Ruffy's creation.
Its been a super weird 22 years, like SUPER WIERD. Why are we eating laundry detergent now? and someone explain memes to me AND GET OFF MY LAWN.
