So as some of you might have noticed I have been taking a break from the local scene. Because of a lot of drama that occurred a little while ago. And I thought that this new year, 2018, would be great for me. Now I understand that the year is not over. And many more things can happen between now and then. But this new year is kicking my ass.

Recently over the holiday season my mom got sick. Now I'm not going to go into the details of it. But it landed her in the hospital just after Christmas. Which was the 26th of December. And she has been in the hospital since then. Earlier this week she was in the ICU. So just by that statement alone, you can understand she's having a rough go of things. And while that is going on I have gotten sick myself. I ended up with two ear infections, one for each ear. And now my wisdom tooth is impacted. That basically means I'm in the extreme amount of pain, with my bottom left wisdom tooth. This new year has not been kind to me. And me and my family have been having a very rough time with the new year.

I have been making strides to continue art. But it's obviously not been easy. I offered free art, to commemorate me reaching the 1000 Watcher mark. And no one claimed it. I don't know how to feel about the fact that my life right now is crumbling. I want to say something positive, but I find it extremely hard to do. Furry art has been my life forever. But it just seems like, it's maybe not for me. Even saying that statement sounds dumb to me. But it just seems like, nobody really wants my art. I say that because I have been approached to do art trades before. And more than half of the time, I get stood up. Like I will do my half, I obviously take a long time. But I eventually do my half, and the other person doesn't do their half.

I don't know why this happens to me. I don't know why people think that I will do amazing quality for next to nothing. I often slave for like 3 hours minimum on a whatever ass piece. And on a good piece 8 hours is just maybe the sketch and a little bit of the line art. I kind of find it offensive that my line art is being called sketch. But I also noticed that people will make finished art and call it a sketch. I really don't understand if it's because the community Prides itself on a ridiculous popularity scale for art and art pricing. Or if people just... I don't know, don't care unless it is and accepted Style of artwork.

I guess I say all that to say this. It would be nice if people left me something, that made me feel like they care about my art. I've been having such a rough time with this new year. That it would be nice to feel like at least someone is enjoying my hard work, that comes from my heart. I just feel like I need some kind of support right now.

So that is what a going on with me. Art is defiantly in the background, but in my foreground I am clearly struggling with some major shit. Nice words would just mean everything right now.
