So it's finally here - 
rave_fox and I will be leaving February 1st to work and travel throughout Australia for a year! I plan to continue making art during this time, but this will of course cause some temporary changes.
As I will be on the road, I unfortunately can't take my whole roster of traditional art supplies with me. But I will be taking my watercolor paints and a sketchbook, so I will be able to do some simple traditional works. I have also treated myself to an iPad Pro for the trip, so many (if not most) of the artworks and commissions I do along the way will be digital.
I will be working odd jobs while I travel, so I am not sure how often I will be able to take commissions. I expect to open occasionally for badges, larger works, or practice pieces, especially if I am between jobs. I'll post about larger openings here, and if you want to be notified about smaller stuff the best course would be to follow my personal Twitter.
Conventions
This means I will be absent from North American conventions throughout 2018. My next convention in North America will be VancouFur 2019, and I plan to jump right back into the con cycle when I return.
But during my time away, I will be attending Australian conventions instead! I am currently registered to vend at Confurgence in February, FurDU in May, and plan to attend HCFC in July as well. If you live around the great southern land, or will be attending any of these conventions, I will see you there!
Postcard Commissions:
I want to try something fun!
If you send me $30 USD to cover my accommodation or meals one day, I will send you a postcard from wherever I am! The postcard will have a small drawing on it and includes international shipping.
Include a ref of your character or favorite animal if you want something specific, otherwise I will draw something from my adventure :)

Our cons are quite small, not sure how active the dealers dens are. TaniDaReal went there a few years back, so maybe they'd have some insight?
Warning, it gets pretty damn hot this time of year depending on where you're staying. I'm expecting a few 40C or above days during the next 1.5 months (usually Feb, but sometimes March can be a troll); the weather has been weird lately though, so maybe we'll get lucky and not melt this year... That'll be a first!

Thanks very much for the tips, we're staying mostly far south for the next few months so hopefully the weather won't melt us (gonna be a shock coming from Canadian winter!)
Should be fine, the weather is a lot cooler over (south)east. Could always flee to Tasmania though, if it becomes unbearable. :3 (I'm not sure why they decided to host a con in the middle of summer rofl, those poor fursuiters).
