back home from hospital

In case you guys missed the news, I was put in the hospital for emergency surgery over the weekend. I had a kidney stone attack last Tuesday night, which unfortunately lasted well into Thursday and forced me to cancel my camping trip :( ... Most of the pain had subsided except for this one area with a lingering ache.. after waiting until Saturday to see if it would go away ( it didn't ) I went to the urgent care center nearby... waited 4 damn hours only for the dr to tell me to go to the ER AND relieve me of $190 for the visit....
I went to the ER and they took me right in.. I got a cat scan within 30 min of my arrival which showed a 8mm stone blocking the urethra between the right kidney and the bladder.. causing the kidney to swell and begin to lose functionality. I was admitted right away and sent up to a room while they arranged for surgery. Sunday morning I was wheeled in to the OR for a laser cath procedure. I was knocked out and woke up several hours later with the procedure complete and a success... they had to leave a cath in place so the urethra dosen't swell shut but that will come out in about a week. Meantime i'm out of commission with no major anything for a while and I can see why... I was released today and it's really hard to get around.. I feel like i'm 90 and walking like it too.
At least i'm OK and lucky I caught the problem before it developed into something worse. The lab will tell the Dr what the cause of the stones are and if it's dietary or not... then we can come up with a plan of action to prevent them.
I wasn't able to access FA in the hospital cause their WiFi has it blocked but I was communicating on twitter and telegram quite a bit. Thanks for all the well wishes guys... it meant a lot.

You just had trauma on top of trauma, though that second trauma should make you better.
