Quick question for you all before I head back to work...
Let's say I had two characters about 2 years ago, one, a character that I loved and is probably a character that means the most to me out of all of the characters that I've ever made [which is... a LOT], the second, pretty close to being "me". I sold them to someone who was very close to me... but I never received payment for them... but because the person was so close to me, I went ahead and sent their files over, and they went ahead and added them to their lineup and I was ok with that, because I still had access to them, and because I figured I'd eventually get paid for them. We were besties, after all.
Well... they disappeared, completely, without a word. Account disabled,couldn't can't reach them via any other means... I've tried getting in contact with them quite a few times over the years, but no dice. Not even about payment for the two characters... just because. I don't know what happened, why they disappeared... nothing.
But recently someone asked me what happened to one of those characters... and I now am left wondering... what did happen to them? Are they still mine? Are they no longer mine because, despite never being paid for them, I handed over their files and let the other person "claim" them?
What do??? One of them in particular pains me to be sitting around, gathering dust. [Which is the exact reason I "sold" her in particular to begin with...]

But thanks ^^ The couple of other people I've spoken to about it have said pretty much the same thing... I guess I just want more input before I... do anything ^^;
That does seem to be the general consensus @_@;; I still feel weird cuz they were posted in their gallery and stuff... /:
And if they were on skype, I believe you can view all history there, if they were on your friends list/still are.
The characters are still technically yours, and you can't really get in trouble for a deal you never even made!
But yeah she is still yours and you should bring her back

If it were me (you), just claim them as yours cuz the payment is kind of CRITICAL.
Not paying IS stealing. And you don't condone stealing. Right??
I'm guilty of adopting, homing various characters only to have them never see new art. But there is always the future to get more!
Honestly if it's been that long I don't think they'll even notice?
