Poser/Scammer issues

Heya, I just wanted to throw a heads up, theres several folks currently wild pretending
to be me, Theo specifically - my alternative fursona. Also a heads up if anyone as me
contacts you and asks for money or otherwise tries to spread misinformation, I do not
take commissions outside my online forms at website or stream channel. Places I can
be found are listed on my website at the contact section, front page: https://neotheta.fi/
Good basic pointers:
1. I do NOT roleplay, and I would never ask for that.
2. I do not approach individuals out of blue and suggest they commission me.
3. I have a Discord account, BUT I am NOT active there.
4. I do NOT have an instagram account.
5. I do NOT use facebook.
6. I have a furry amino profile, BUT I am NOT active there.
Other thoughts:
I'm not gonna lie, all of this has been a massive dis-encouragement to draw more of Theo.
I wanted to move into using him as my profile picture, but now I'm feeling really anxious
about all the bad mixups that'd cause. People pretending to be Theo is more than the content
I produce of him in total - so it's likely people mistake me for that annoying 12-year-old or that
shameless smut roleplayer who are using my character more than I have been.
I also feel I've betrayed myself for stepping back and gone into silence about this, then again
I could've never imagined that someone this unpopular could be hit by something this large -
I don't even know anyone else having this type of problem. Every single week someone mentions
of a new poser somewhere or approaches me thinking they talked with me somewhere else before.
I knew it'd happen every now and then, maybe once a few years, not in a continuous never ending way.
How can people simultaneously hate you and also want to be you? I can't wrap that around
my head. I can't report every single one of them at this rate, I need to think up another strategy
to tackle it. I really do want to feel good about Theo again and keep up - this has been a fursona
project that's done so much good to me personally.

I hope you come to a solution that doesn't result in Theo getting shelved... :\

Years ago, someone was regularly stealing my art and the identity of one of my comic characters. The thief never contributed anything to me or my work, but apparently went around telling people how he helped me make my comic and never got credit. It boggled my mind; I'm not popular enough for anyone to want to steal from! Or so I thought.
So, I empathize, and hope the fakes stop doing this to you.
I always knew this would happen though, and for years already there's been one or two somewhere. But not in this scale...having to think how to report a new issue on a site I've never used before almost every week is really burning out. Are these people a coordinated group who want to cause harm because it's funny? Is it actually just one persistent person who just always answers a bit differently when I find out? If they're all different random people, why are they targeting me?
So far I've found that googling "dragon furry" results into pictures of Theo, but is that really it. If it is, RuDragon would surely have even more posers? (they're another whos art shows up in the same search but before mine)
Though if I do see you floating around other sites knowing full well it isn't you, I'll give you a heads up. You've nothing to worry about.
