The sock paws were made by
AlphaDogs and their site is here!
For the last two years, Fester's partial has consisted of his head, hand paws, and tail, but I was always missing some big old feet paws to go with him, leaving me to wear either shoes (my blue or green Doc Martins usually) or a cheap pair of purple and green slippers I got online for £5 from an online store called Universal Textiles. I saw that ADS had opened up for quotes last September, so I sent them Fester's refsheet and how the colours of his toes go, and within a few days they'd sent me back an email saying how much his sock was would be.
Fast forward to the start of October when they opened their commissions, I emailed them saying I was definitely interested in a pair of sock paws. They emailed me back asking if the sock paws were to match a partial, and if they were, what kinds of fur had been used to make said partial. I messaged Fester's maker about what kinds of fur, and she got back to me with luxury shag in lime green, light blue, and white. They also asked me what colour and material I wanted his paw pads and claws to be, both dark green with the pads made from vinyl and claws sewn fleece. I was also able to choose the colour of the inner lining, and I asked for either pale blue or purple, but I'm really happy with how the purple looks against the green.
Okay, so first of all, I was super impressed with how quickly they arrived in the mail. They were shipped off Monday 30th October, and I was expecting them to take at least two weeks to get to me through the post and all, but my mum handed me a medium-sized box on Wednesday 1st November, and I was super excited about it (the reason I can remember it so well is that I was very hungover and the slippers really brightened up my day). I actually felt well enough to do a quick unboxing video, which you can watch on YouTube here just in case anyone is interested! I also do a bit of a review in the video, so I guess it's an unboxing/review video.
Score: 9/10 - I can't give the full score, despite their constant contact and WIPs, because of how they were packaged, but that is the only fault I can say about them!
Would I buy from them again?: I can definitely see myself buying another pair of sock paws from them, maybe of my other dutchies, or maybe of my other main sona, my otteroo.
Would I recommend them?: Without a doubt! Super friendly, great communication, and lots of WIPs to be kept up to date with!
