No, Smash 4 ported to Switch.

I don't believe it's a port.

They wouldn't put that much effort into a teaser for a Smash port. Especially for a big addition to the game like Inklings. Also, note BOTW Link and the logo look nothing like Smash 4's. If it WAS a port, the logo would have been the same.

Also, in the corner of the screen with the title it notes "Original Game".

Still, an out-of-the-blue announcement for Smash that's not at E3 is a unique choice to say the least.

The reason I mention it's a port is due to the fact that much of the Switch's lineup is basically WiiU ports, some of them with addons.

I could easily see BOTW link and Zelda added as costumes to the roster.

Still, the announcement is to breed "hype" for E3. Any guesses will be put to rest.

Kirby was the only thing that awed me, amusingly. Seeing Gooey playable and Marx playable blew my mind, along with the fact that said update is free.

I'm actually looking forward to this.
