Furry Twitter = MMORPG?

Furry Twitter looks for all the world like a free-form MMORPG.
From my (very) casual observations:
People posting random content are the NPCs. Their postings are the snippets of conversation you pick up when you're within "earshot" of that particular character via retweets and likes.
We have vendors - people selling art. There are lots of vendors. My bags will never be full.
There are sanctuary cities (sort of). These are the various conventions. Occasionally, you read about PvP breaking out at conventions, but they otherwise are supposed to be conflict-free zones.
Apparently, there are even RAID bosses. You do read about Alt-Fur accounts being taken down. These appear to be team efforts and sometimes require much in the way of resources and coordination.
The funny thing is, I don't really think most of the participants in this MMO are aware that they're even playing.
