SO yeah, one of every digital artists' worst nightmares: when the tablet starts to not work. Mine's holding up ok given that it's from 2013, has been stepped on, dropped, and even kicked by accident from a friend, but that doesn't mean it's functional enough for what I need. So far the issues I've found are that it doesn't register sensitivity as well as it used to, the charging port is starting to fail, and there's a deadspot somewhere that just registers the whole area as being touched by the pen at once when I hit it which causes the line to jump somewhere else. So yeah I need to kinda get it fixed or replaced, probably replaced, so that'll set me back $300 from my also-very-needed new laptop. SO I'm thinking that maybe this Friday night, I'll hold a commission stream at like, 8pm eastern standard time US to help me afford this purchase. So yeah, I'll end up doing anything up to colored sketches discounted maybe 50%, so look for that if you want anything drawn by me. I'll probably also do a weight gain drive too to add to the funding.
