Been a damn long time since I took this up again, eh? Sure enough though, I'm finally prepared to take on another full, proper queue for pieces and hours of all types-- and I'm excited about it to boot!
NOTES TO BE AWARE OF FOR THIS BATCH OF ORDERS:
Despite my gallery being comically behind on posting, all of my paid work with the exception of Ciewa and Sharlan and Lil's pieces (which are being worked on this week to finish, taking mild precedent over new stuff) has been finished, approved and delivered! I'm also done with traveling for the year sans a possible migration to Texas for two weeks in June, though if/when that does happen my workhorse WILL be coming with me and I expect to remain productive.
PROTOCOL FOR THOSE LOOKING TO OBTAIN A SLOT:
- Successfully claim a slot when open via my journals (SPECIFY AMOUNT OF HOURS)
- Send me a note containing ALL relevant information, written and visual, of the characters in question. This includes descriptions, piece expectations/wants, and ALL absolutely “must have” elements.*
- Send payment to kdavis51[at]uco.edu via paypal WITH A NOTE ATTACHED of your FA username. If I don’t have the latter, it’s hard to tell who sent me what. Don’t be that person!* Seriously though, notes with usernames attached are SUPER ESSENTIAL to make pay identification easier, especially now that Paypal's UI looks like a crappy phone app.
*ALL NOTES AND PAYMENTS MUST BE SUBMITTED WITHIN 24 HOURS OF A SLOT CLAIM UNLESS EXPRESSLY STATED OTHERWISE. Failure to do this will AUTOMATICALLY FORFEIT your slot for that round. Those of you who follow my twitter Kalydali likely know this already, but I happened to acquire an iPad Pro, Apple Pencil and the Procreate app recently, and have been using headshot/bust commissions as a way to get more familiar with the program! I've been really enjoying these and see no reason to quit them any time soon; because of this, I'm leaving these slots open indefinitely for now, and taking as many as I get! They are 60 USD flat rate, due to taking two hours minimum, but I'm not charging by the hour proper while I still get used to things and am not super time efficient due to tech bumbling.
PERKS of this commission type include a FREE time lapse of your piece being created ( https://drive.google.com/file/d/1l5.....ew?usp=sharing ), a Procreate only final ( https://drive.google.com/file/d/18A.....ew?usp=sharing ) and a fully touched up version through Photoshop later ( https://drive.google.com/file/d/1RL.....ew?usp=sharing -- there's also a full size version I add as well!) for your trouble. I may or may not imply backdrop elements, but I typically do flat colored backgrounds and give them proper texture in the final PS pass. Get this deal while it's hot! Turnaround is very quick since I plow through one every day to two days on average. Sometimes my "off" days include chewing through a couple of these on the couch!

Aaand lastly-- a POSSIBLE slot proposal for a PS4?:
Okay, so, this one's a special, optional, oneshot slot I'm just tossing out there because I'm weak and temptation is a powerful force. I haven't had a new generation console for a long, long time, and with the coming of Monster Hunter World, I think I'm wanting to invest in a PS4. This does not have to be a new or even Pro model-- it just has to work well and be in decent condition. This can be bought or traded from your personal belongings. I would be willing to trade an appropriate chunk of hours to get my hands on one, though if there are no bites out there, that's okay too. I'm just struggling to justify putting actual, tangible bill money towards a plaything and attempting to circumvent it by technically trading my goods and services for the device, instead.

Things have been a bit rough honestly... I had an accident just after you finished my art oddly enough that seriously damaged my spine. I’ve to this point had two surgeries but it’s unfortunately a lost cause and I’m lightly but permanently handicapped now. So is life! Great to hear from you! :)
