A Good Breakup is Better Than a Bad Relationship
7 years ago
So, as you might guess from the title, after about a year, Cloakarts and I have come to the realization that we're not quite right for each other.
He was a little scared as to how I'd take it. Honestly, I'd been having insecurities, but I thought they were just my ugly self-hatred, self-injuriousness, and self-doubt rearing its Cerberus-ish heads.
So we're still friends, but yeah, we're separate at the moment. (And yes, this has been going on for like a year.) But as I've told my parents, "A good divorce is better than a bad marriage." In much the same way, well, see title.
It's a little disappointing, but we've both grown as people, so I trust that it was all for the better.
