Well aside from the general screaming of 'PONY!' I hear over the din of convention crowds. The best reaction so far was when me and my partner Cloppy were walking through the lobby of a hotel 'convention adjacent' we were staying at. I want to say it was either pre convention or post, so normal people and whatnot were the main demographic.
I hear 'PONIES!!!' in a very young girl voice and my instant reaction is 'oh no... inb4 angry parent/vanilla parent'
Exact opposite, photos were taken brief convo, and we returned to our walk to the main hotel.
Strangest reaction... Well considering my limited visibility and diminished hearing I'm sure I've missed some good ones. The two toss ups for me however was one CPD officer I startled and made him reconsider his life choices when he noticed me standing within 3 feet of him. [was walking past to go somewhere] or the janitor in Georgia that wasn't paying attention to anything but the floor till he was sub three feet of me. Apparently little pony me can make grown men nearly twice my size shit bricks.
Longest 'temp fix' has got to be my old 89 240's zip tied radiator mount. Swapped out the stock for a much larger aluminium radiator, stock mounts wouldn't fit. used some 1/2 zip ties to do it. Stayed like that till I sold the car 7 years later.

Great success!

Glad that went OK...startling a cop sometimes has sub-optimal results.

Good thing he knew where the cleaning supplies were, then!

Heh. I used baling wire to replace a clip on the transmission kick-down linkage on a Ford that I used to drive, and that also stayed there until I sold it. Not quite as critical as the radiator, though. :)

What's the longest a "temporary" fix done to one of the Nissans has stayed on there? :)
