Help appreciated. Partner was disowned

Hello all,
My wonderful and amazing partner
givealexahand was disowned last night by their abusive mother. They’re staying with me currently, but unfortunately my apartment is an extremely small studio apartment and it’s difficult to sustain two people here.
Their mother cut their phone service access and has most of their things, so any help they can get is deeply appreciated.

It's illegal for the mother to keep him from his things. If she truly is disowning, take her to court, get his stuff back.

True, depending on how much damage she does we may do that but at the current time the most important thing is removing them from their abusive situation and trying to help them find a place to stay. In the future we will probably go and try to get as much as we can back, but right now their safety, mental health, and security is the main concern.
