Father is having surgery on Wednesday

So my dad and boyfriend are both going to be going under
on Wednesday. I'm very stressed out. My dad is experiencing
chest pains and he's been very tired. He's already had
stents I think 4 times so it's most likely another clot.
But he's 73 so it's very stressful to think of.
I know my boyfriend will be fine but I'm also still very nervous
about that as well. Don't think anything is going to help me calm down.
It also sucks that I can't take my sleeping meds cause the
anti-biotics I'm taking for a sinus infection interact with them x(

what kind of surgery is your dad having? Like full surgery or a cardiac catheter? :0
I just had stents and a new valve put in like 2 months ago, but they went in through a huge vein in my leg with a catheter instead of opening up my chest again. Medicine is wild now.
Sorry if that's nosey as shit, but they're getting so good with those surgeries now.
For my recent stents and valve I was out the next day.
For a full open heart surgery, it was fast as hell too.
I honestly don't know much because he doesn't want me or any of my siblings to worry to much.
He really only tells us when and why he is going in.
All I can say is it's for blood clots cause the diabetes he has makes them more common.
No worries, Medicine is really crazy now a days.
I'm glad your surgery went so well though, if you don't mind me asking where you born
with heart issues or did they just happen for some reason.
I was born with mine, unfortunately. Had the one big surgery and two of these small ones. They really get you going quickly after, it’s kind of amazing how easy and fast these things are. When I told people I was having a heart surgery they couldn’t believe I came back so quickly.
So I think your dad is gonna be A-okay!
