Here's a novel idea, how about, say, taking the perspective of animals in the wild - what few there are left. Let's look at the whole notion of geopolitics and even the idea of nations from the perspective of those we furries pretend to have some degree of affinity for.

From that perspective, what difference is there between Russia and the USA? What difference is there between any nation or culture even? All have taken more than their fair share of the planet, shirked their responsibility for it, used it to their own advantage and at the cost of every element and square inch of nature this world once had, considering the drastic and devestating effects the change in climate have already had, not to mention will have on this planet's ability to support much of life on earth, including mankind himself.

From nature's perspective, Trump and Putin are one in the same. From nature's perspective, you who read this and Trump are one in the same, as are you who read this and mankind's most begnin, or as your perspective sees them - "good" such as Mother Theresa. We as a species have decimated entire species, wiped them out of existence forever; and we have done so for literally millions of species of plants, insects, animals, and microorganisms. We have brought about the extinction of most, that means more than half, of all species known to exist.

Nature does not see the difference between those who understand what they are doing to nature and do it anyway; and those who are blissfully ignorant of their part in this wholesale destruction of a planet full of life. What difference is there between tar sands in Canada, fracking in the USA, and extraction from the arctic regions of Russia? You in Indiana burn the same fossil fuels as you in Venezuela just as you in Moscow burn the same fossil fuels as you in Cuba just as Israelis and Palestinians burn the same fossil fuels as their irrelevant situation is seen as equally destructive on either side of the walls and other borders between the two.
