Question: Why is your fursona the species they are?
I've always been curious as to why people choose specific animals, like if there's always been a lifelong affiliation or some significant even, etc! So why is your fursona whatever animal they are?
As for myself, I just always liked big cats :u but that was probably cemented from my early art days on TLKFAA. I love chees because they're so different from any other feline species (while often considered 'big cats', they're not under the Panthera genus); they're actually pretty dog-like in some aspects (historically it was contestable if they should be felids under Linnaean classification). In the wild they're also kind of the underdogs on their predatory hierarchy and are easily pushed around, since they're meant for running and not fighting; I guess I can relate to that xD

the 3rd is dragon, usually eastern :) this one is now tied somewhat to the jagpard as an alt form
It might seem odd(well, it IS odd indeed) but, in fact, this in not my first fursona, despite it being the perfect pick... although that is another story xD
I think my cat had some sort of influence on me to go back to a feline fursona xD since the transition was around the same time we adopted him
I felt the best with bats and started reading a lot about them while designing my fursona. I learned so much about them and now I'm really proud of it. Also my mate dropped this funny idea of giving the bat an corpse paint because we're both metalheads. That's his story, haha~ <3
as someone who has to study a lot of biology, I always find bats super fascinating :> both with the huge diversity among different species and being the only true flying mammals.
hah i love the origin of the corpse paint!
OHMY. Just googled the Yutyrannus and I'm speechless. Never heard of them, they look amazing! Thank you soo much for introducing them to me :' D
How cool is that! Are you going to work in that 'branch of industry'? That's a hella fascinating science <3
Right! Bats are an catchy topic, such amazing creatures.
Haha <3
