Normally I'm not into comic crossovers,

-but I might just have to check this one out, for insane curiosity if for no other reason.

I already have a Batman/TMNT crossover, though.
Looks like it could be fun.
And yes, it did contain a scene where Beast and Riker chat about how similar Picard and Xavier look. This novel came out about 3-4 years BEFORE Patrick Stewart was cast as Prof X.
I consider it a supreme irony that he is named McCoy."
- Bones and Ratchet bonding over both being medical professionals.
- Ratchet saying "Dammit Prime! I'm a doctor, not an X"
- If it's a continuous timeline, Prime remarking they have been away from Earth (and this part of space) for a long time, but happy to see that Humankind has managed to set aside their racial differences at last.
- Prime professing hope that one day, maybe the Autobots and the Decepticons can, too.
- If it's dimensional crossover, surprise that humans have interstellar travel... and followed with the same happy remark and the same hope. (Yes, I am hedging my bets with this one).
- Spock commenting on the illogical process of transforming and questioning where the excess mass goes.
- Scotty wondering why the Transformers haven't gotten to upgrading their archaic vehicle forms if they are meant to be disguises.
- Megatron being operated by the Klingon commander/main antagonist.
- Starscream gotta Starscream.
- Soundwave still superior Decepticon.
- Klingons completely blown away by the great warrior that is Grimlock and abandon their Decepticon alliance because of it.
How or where'd you come across this the first time?
If this is half as impressive as the other crossovers (Star Trek meets Legion of Superheroes, ST meets Planet of the Apes, Planet/Apes meets Green Lantern, etc), well I'll still be pleased. They using the cartoon version? Eh, it's still better then Teen Trek. Perhaps we will get to see Kizinti. Yes, Kizinti riding Stuntacons against an 80s synthwave background...
Best crossover ever imho.
