Updates - Moved/New Oc?/Poly issues? (maybe rant?)

Ay sooo! I been gone these past few weeks because... I MOVED! :D ...not to a new state or anything but i wanted to get out of these apartments. I moved in officially on the 1st. We get internet at the new place monday morning so thats cool and all. Yall should send me house warming gifts/coins! :U

New Oc- I really want a Dog sona super badly. Dont worry, i will always be a bear at heart. Both her designs will be used regularly BUT i kinda want a side sona. For those days where i wanna experiment and such. Thinking about hosting a design contest or something with a cash money winner. Ive noted a few artist but to no avail. Ah well, its something to think about.
Ok so, i will address something. I had someone in my DMs this morning(thank you by the way) tell me they were interested in me but didn't pursue because i was in a relationship with Geekidog and didnt quite fully understand nor "accept" that i was OPENLY polyamorous. Like, let me tell you something, not only am i in a relationship with Geekidog, i am also married to a husband! They know about each other and respect their relationships with me. I dont say it enough outloud often but I love both of them very much. Despite the burning love, i feel like i have more room to love. Its always so upsetting to meet someone i vibe with then i tell them i am married with a GF and they back away because of an ex who "was poly and she cheated on me" or "i dont think i can have a gf and not get the same attention as her other partners". Like... I get it, i really do BUT do you know how crushing that is to me?
I hate peoples misconceptions of what they are allow to call poly. I hate that people openly blame being cheated on or hurt as poly or as an excuse to run and hump on things and dump them at moments notice. Mind you, you allow to do whatever you want with your life so long as you being safe, responsible, and not creating victims. If you want to be open sexually, go for it! Just be careful and use protection. Shiiit, if STD/STIs weren't a thing... Whew... But yeah dont call it what it isnt. Now Poly, IS defined by the parties involved. You can be sexually and romantically active with 1 of your partners but just be emotionally and romantically involved with the other. You can be not sexually involved with any of them or vice versa! Its still poly and valid. Just communicate and you'll be fine(maybe). I can tell you what isnt poly though. Having 5 Gfs/Bfs that dont know about eachother ISNT poly. Forcing your boyfriend to get a girlfriend so you can have multiple partners because "ITS EQUAL!" so you don't feel bad ISNT poly. Actually, Thats straight up evil... Being in relationship with 2 other people who hate each others guts due to a disrespect of their very existence(i.e. A TERF and a transwoman and cis woman in a relationship) may be a poly relationship but isnt a Healthy one. Stop saying its "poly relationships ruining your love life". NO. Its shit people ruining your love life! Regardless if you are Mono, Open, Poly, ect. If there are shit people in the relationship, you will have a shit relationship.
Its really heart retching because i do want more partners but, im afraid. Im afraid ill fall in love with someone then be denied their full affection in return because of fear or misconceptions. Its bad enough that im a black woman in this fandom, which already is a huge negative here(and pretty much everywhere on the planet),now add that i am Gay™, disabled, & poly . Shit, Im not a perfect person, i make a ton of mistakes but that's life. I may not cheat, lie or physically abuse but i know ive said some mean things to upset my partners, on purpose, when they've hurt me. I can be careless sometimes. I dont say "I love you enough" or know how to publicly declare my affection. Its not something im used to but i am willing to learn for those i care about. I'd love to care about more of yall. Its not that my currents cant satisfy me or anything i just want more. I want to love more people differently. I want to grow as much as i can and be loved and love in every way possible. Im always open to add people to my life.
Its not just about the physical attraction. Each of my partners fufill a kind of love i look for and im 100% open for their specific type of love to change. I am Omnisexual. My preferences have alot to do with Physical preference as well as Emotional standards. I am still learning alot about myself and i would love to have some A1 people in my life i can learn them with.
TL;DR - Give me stuff. I want to be a doggo sometimes. Please stop blaming and labeling your toxic "relationships" as poly.

I've been having issues with people accepting me for my poly situation too.
This was really eye opening and I hope a lot of people can see this and actually start to understand a bit better.

Yeah this answered a lot of my questions just as well. If you guys ever have time and maybe would answer a few questions I have, please let me know! :)
I will try to answer them to the best of my abilities. Truffles' is definitely more knowledgeable then me though.
TL;DR, if you ever want to talk and get to know each other I think you’re super cool and completely understand the poly struggle. The same thing goes for Geeki (if she’s reads this) But I’m a very shy bean. ;;
P.S. I also have both a Doggo and a Bear sona ahah. It’s nice to have options. ^^
