New home
Over the past few weeks I've been packing up and moving into a new home, we finally got the internet working today and the lack of internet wasn't as bad as I thought, since I had a backlog of anime to watch xD but the new place is really nice, save a few minor things.
I had to move out of the last place since I had a laundry list of complaints that never got fixed in the seven years that I lived there.
Starting with field mice, when
vixiesnow lived with me, she had a pet lizard who we fed the mice to, no problem there.
But the problems just kept growing, from the mice, to black mold, no insulation in the building, that last one I found out when they replaced the windows and there was nothing between the bricks and the drywall, to the air conditioner that could never even get cold, the high electric bills (350-400 a month during summer trying not to die) on top of that, the lady behind me had roaches, and she got evicted for it, so they came over to my place, I spent a ton of money trying to battle them, but it was just too damn hot to really kill them all.
So I had to cut my loses, I cleaned what I could, making sure no little bastards came with me, and I sent everything cleaned over to my mothers house so I wouldn't have to clean them again.
I had to throw away all of my furniture and many other things that I have had for years because I couldn't clean it well enough, the infestation was bad and I was running out of money to spend on roach killing sprays.
So I made a deal with my mother, I would move in with her in her new place to keep her company (which allows me to get a job not far away, walking distance) and I get an air conditioned room.
The past week or so we've been packing up her house to move into this place, my everything hurt for days, and my pale sunless skin is now red from being sunburnt.
At least now I'm out of the tornado city.
