Megaplex and The Road To Recovery
General
So as some of you guys already know, I had a bit of an epileptic episode on the day I was supposed to head to up to Megaplex (and my 24th birthday, but whatever) which dislocated my right arm.
This slight incoveniance didn't stop me from making the convention anyway (albeit a day late) and enjoying it greatly, I made a point to hit all of the writing panels, especially the Thursday prompt.
Started off the following day on a high note with the Greymuzzles' breakfast arranged by
Vixyyfox and
Vrghr, the buffet was nice, though there was a need to ambush the waiters once the bill was paid.
There was also a meet for vegan and vegetarian furs a few hours later which was an pleasantly unexpected surprise and I ended the con by catching the concert Fox Amoore and Pepper Coyote had put on.
Overall, I think it exceeded the last con I went to (and Megaplex '16 was hardly a slouch in that regard.) Despite having a rough start and missing a day.
I'll probably start uploading what photos I took there either in the next few days or when my arm is mended, which I'm still able to use within a more limited range of motion.
None the less it will probably be at least four weeks until the sling comes off and a few more before I'm fully recovered, so my activity on FA, SF etc. will be more on the down low until then.
This won't effect my work on the story that much, so long as I've the motivation, largely though, I'll be resting and maybe using the extra time to finally finish some of the books I've had my nose in for the past year or so.

I apologize for making you worry, as before, i'd have said something had I not been uncertain if things would change or not. I'm already making plans for next year, hoping to book a room in the Caribe Royale early on...
