Thank you for following. I’ve had the same name for 15 years, named after one of my favorite albums at the time. I still like the name for what it means (art saves), but a lot of people could not see the meaning, and without it, I am just left with a meaningless name no one knows how to pronounce. I’ve considered changing it a few times over the years. As you can see, I actually acquired my new account 3 years ago, just never but the bullet and moved over. It’s definitely more difficult to go through a name change here than on sites like da where you don’t have to make a new account to do so.

Makes total sense. An odd name or label also comes across as fannish. The the only suggestion I have is to just leave this archive as is, and only move over a few choice or favorite pieces to the new account. Keep the new account mostly for new art,'though. Sound good?

Yes, i will likely want to upload some choice pieces and maybe even gain a few new watchers from them. I created an instagram account a while back where I have slowly been adding my favorite pieces, especially finished ones. I agree with the "fannish" comment as well. If the name of that album did not also allude to creating art, I would have changed it a long time ago. Thanks for your input.
