2018-08-12 Thinking about doing a lot of trades!
Thats right, I want to do sketch (or more!) trades with YOU!
Here's how the process should go:
STEP 1: confirm interest in trading
Z: Hello <You>! I love <selected works> because of <reasons I like those pictures, probably wiggly bellies or better>. I was wondering if you would be interested in doing a trade?
You: Yes!
STEP 2: Agree on trade
Z: I would love to see your take on <idea that Z wants you to draw, likely with a rough sketch to help capture elements>
You: I would love to see your take on <idea that you want Z to draw, probably more bedraptors and tailshove <3.>
<Discussion about, is it just sketches? is it inks only? flats? fully shaded? animation? something else?>
STEP 3: Do it!
Create the work, then share it between BEFORE posting (always share the picture in private FIRST before posting publicly, just to avoid any issues! it's good to share the sketches first, to catch bugs/issues.). It's a good idea to do these fairly rapidly, if it takes longer than a week (unless RL does some bad stuff, in which case you should notify the other party asap!) probably is too long of a trade! Doesn't mean it's ruled out, just a rule of thumb.
NOTE: A TRADE is not a commission, it's you asking to see something from another artist, and you in turn. It can be experimental, but it is meant for BOTH parties to have fun, and explore new ideas and things in a safe and non pressure environment.
So who out there would like to do art trades of some kind hmmmm? ^..^

P.S. My current interest is in stress testing OpenToonz more, so I might be doing small animations as my end... you never know!
