So, EF was a thing...

Hey everyone!
Finally recovered from my trip to Germany! (ie. caught up on my sleep)
EF was a weird experience overall TBH - mostly because it was the first time I've done a con by myself, staying away from the main hotel. The transport to and from the Estrel was spot on, but gotta admit the travelling between hotels took a lot a lot out of me, so gonna try and avoid doing that in future. ^^;
The con itself was probably the most chill convention I've done to this point. I arrived on the Friday afternoon with literally no plan and winged it for most of my time there, and in honesty I'm glad I did. Didn't go to a single event, didn't plan to meet up with anyone in particular, just went with where the con would take me. It was a fun experience, if a little different from my usual.
(I can't remember everyone's FA handle as I don't use this as often so just gonna say names instead:)
Big thanks to local furs Jimbles and Blitz for being awesome con buddies! Turns out none of us got the Estrel and we'd actually booked the same hotel about a mile away, so that was pretty awesome! Caught up with the amazing Shez, Flint and Crome who I don't get to see as often as I should, big props to them for giving Shobi a room for the night instead of me having to drag him around all over the place, and for the awesome suiting shenanigans! Also thanks to Garnetto, Aki, Rob and the crew for the chill times - Shobi was so happy to finally meet ya all!
And ofc thanks to everyone I caught up with/met/chatted to while I was there. Far too many to name again, stay awesome everyone! XD
So yeah, EF was a blast! Will defo be back again one year soon! ^^

IN OTHER NEWS
Next up for me is Scotiacon in November. Still ironing out a few details with that one but should be a good time! ^^
I know I've been saying this for too long but gonna try and get back into the swing of doing artworks/uploading them to here more frequently. Recent happenings have meant I haven't had the time/energy to get things done, but I'm gonna try hard to work on that as we go towards the end of the year. :)

I also stayed in a different hotel from the Estrel this time, had to take the S-Bahn and walk some way to get there. Not ideal but it worked out ^^
