I don't understand why Furaffinity implemented reCaptcha, it is a giant pain in the fricking arse. It ought to be eliminated totally.

I think that's the point behind it. FA's been subject to a lot of DDOS attacks, so implementing cumbersome security things like that could help mitigate it.
