Free Bureau of Not Very Long Translations

General
Obviously, Russian is not a popular language to learn.
Among other things, the events of the last five years have contributed to this. The events in which my country is involved. In which my country is to blame.
The language itself is also to blame for this, deservedly located in the context of the most difficult languages to learn.
All these cases, the gender of nouns, almost arbitrary word structure... Yes, there is little pleasant for students.
Not so long ago, I started a small translation from Russian to English - and once again made sure how difficult it is to convey all the shades of meaning from the usual cyrillic to English.
So, this gruesome skunk opens the Free Bureau of Not Very Long Translations.
If you have a Russian meme, which you would like to understand, having learned what is written there ... If you have questions regarding Russian idioms ... If you have a problem in understanding Russian proverbs - I will be glad to help you than I can.
Why am I doing all this?
You see, for better or worse, I am not deprived of one national Russian trait: It is always flattering to me when foreigners are interested in my language and culture.
So - do not be shy.
I don't bite. Well, maybe - I stink... a little.

a lot of the slavic languages are difficult to learn, they have very complex grammar. Also feature a lot of letters and sounds that germanic and latin/romance languages dont have. Its not specific to Russian, Polish is also a very difficult language to learn.

I'm not sure how much I wish to learn, but I might be interesting in talking with you. One of the characters I play in tabletop comes from Russia.

I had been starting out with lessons. Time and money once again got in the way but perhaps soon I can pick it up again. Family is Russian and Ukrainian, so the language interests me
