An Elysian Tail - entry for XBox/Doritos Dream Build Play

Hey all!
Almost a decade ago, I hosted a fan website for Foxglove - an adorable bat character from Chip N' Dale's Rescue Rangers. (Now located here - http://foxglove.cdrrhq.ru/) An artist that went by the name "Noogy" told me he that Foxglove was one of the reasons he got into drawing and illustration, and shared some great fan art with me (http://foxglove.cdrrhq.ru/fanart/artp6.html#noogy)
Well, as it turns out, he was also developing a story for an animated film called Elysian Tail. Over the past decade, he has pretty much garnered a wide range of talents. You can now add "game developer" to that list, as he has entered "Elysian Tail" the video game to the XBox/Doritos Dream Build Play contest. I'm happy to say that he's no slouch - the game looks GORGEOUS!
I'm just happy to know this guy followed a longtime dream of his over several years, building a franchise that has charm and real potential to be a success. If you have a moment, check out an interview he did for XBox Indies, and watch the YouTube video. Seriously, it's a kick-ass entry, and for furries that love video games featuring them in some way, you have to appreciate the effort he put into this.

PS: Check out the fairy-style char that follows Dust around (YouTube - 1:23). Haven't confirmed with Dean yet, but I believe that she is based on Foxglove!

I haven't forgotten Dean "Noogy" Dodrill. I still look him up occasionally. The game looks very impressive. I love the music that plays through most of that demo-video. I hope it--and the movie--is successful.
