I don't think FE4 needs a remake.

Alternate Title: Video game incest is cool. Real incest is not.
Nintendo remade fire emblem gaiden, a Japan only famicom game, into Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia. They could do that to Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War, but I kind of don't want them to.
Part 1: They'd remove the incest pairing options. Yeah, it's gross, but they're really good options. I'm either pairing Ayra with Lex or Holyn. Holyn has the same movement range as Ayra, and Lex has other places to put his dick into, so cousin fucking it is.
Part 2: They might get rid of Pursuit and/or Critical. In FE4, you can only double attack if you have the Pursuit skill. It's a common skill, but almost half of gen 1 doesn't have it by default. Technically removing the skill and just using attack speed to determine double attacks is great. Arden would double early axe units, but Lewyn would become a god, and there'd be no difference between Alec and Noish, and Deirdre would be massacred by everything with her heavy ass Aura tome.
Part 3: Item trading. I hate the dumb roundabout way you trade items in this game, but it's a necessary evil. The skill rings are expensive to trade for a reason. If you traded around the paragon band to everybody on turn 1, everybody would be overleveled by the time they leave the arena. Also, it gives Dew a reason to exist.
