To Those Still Waiting On Their Commish!!
Sorry I haven't updated this in awhile. I was out of town for a week in New York at my Uncle's wedding (( so no work done there )) and had to double up my work load at the massage clinic so that I could make up money for that last week... Needless to say... i haven't been home much, or drawing. I have one day off tomorrow (Sat.) and am using that day to sleep and recover... I have to work again Sunday and Monday... but I have Tuesday and Thursday off... so I'll do my best to pump out the rest of the line art one those three days (( Sat, Tues, Thrus )) and some colored ones as well...
I AM truly sorry that this is taking me awhile to get through... but honestly, the job is what is paying the bills right now... so the commish are still cooking, but on the back burner as it were.
I hope you all can understand and continue to allow me your patience until i get through all these. i will only open commish again once I have all the others done, and then only a few slots at a time... I want to get the trades and kiribans i've promised done too...
So once more I appologize to those of you who have noted me and are getting upset... I'm trying my best... and to those who have been calm enough to know that I'm good on my word and will get them done when they're done, i thank you.

And i'm sorry... but you saying 'I wouldn't have bothered' IS commenting on *your* specific commish...
Underselling yourself and taking on too many commissions is unprofessional. Pretty simple.
you're right about commenting on my specific commission in my second comment. but i gather by you getting irritated notes that some of your commissioners might also feel the same.
And i'm irritated, because you're suddenly jumping on me out of the blue... had you TOLD me you were getting impatient, I would have worked to get yours finished sooner... but you haven't said anything, where as others have if they needed it....
Don't assume you know how I work, or how my other commissioners respond to me and the work I'm doing for them.... It's not your business, nor your concern... ok?
It seems very unfair that you work on people who complain first. I dunno. This conversation is going nowhere, sooooo.. Forget it. In fact, I'll just note you about the commission. Thanks!
if it's such a big deal, I've done half the work already and will put you first on the color list so it's done soon... ok?
Like I mentioned, please don't bother coloring my stuff. It's fine as is. thanks.
Good things take time. He was completely honest when he said these were gonna take a while. He needed money to survive then and he did so by offering FANTASTIC quality commissions for an exceedingly low price. If anything, he did you a FAVOUR.
He hasn't been slacking off. He's gotten nearly ALL the line work done. He hasn't run off with your money. He's posted MANY WIP's, INCLUDING YOURS.
Pull your head out of your arse, take a chill-pill and be grateful he's offered you this opportunity.
You want instant art? Either cough up full price or do it yourself!
I'm not a troll, at all, I was only stating my opinion. I took my matter up privately afterwards as well.
BTW, I would have been happy "coughing up full price" if it meant my art was done faster.
thanks again sweety ^^

I wanted to see those again 3: >
Good luck Spencer, and Keep it up! :)

thank you so much,... -hugs warm-
And that you get comment on being unprofessional it's just bullshit: even the best artist had to begin somewhere! You think Da Vinci started off selling artwork for high prices? No. So just relax.
I know you and that you always want to make everyone pleased, but work in real life comes first, no fucking what.
Like I said, getting fired from work because you do 10 bucks commissions, THAT'S unpro.
Anyway, get this over with, learn from it, and go on with head high :) *kissums*
I AM trying to be better about it!!!

Artists are human, not machines. Artists do have personalities and lives to live. I swear, you could drop dead suddenly and some people would still poke you with a stick complaining they didn't get what they wanted. In fact, I think I heard of that happening once, including a lawsuit filed against next-of-kin. Oh yeah. I remember now. It was someone who passed away at an apartment, and the owner filed a lawsuit against the next of kin for the renter "failing to provide 30 days notice before vacating the property." Yeah ... 30 days notice that you will be dead ... Uhm. Riiiight.
AAAHHHHHHH!!!
O~o some people in this world really worry me...
Kidding. Life's life. :)
jk <.<
-huggles your stripey goodness-
Take care of yourself! None of us are going to shrivel up and die if we have to wait a bit for our commissions, just knowing you've got it all in hand is perfectly good enough so far as I'm concerned.
Thank you!!!!
Don't forget that you gotta make sure that you have something to eat and a place to stay, those things always come first. As always, greatly looking forward to seeing the finished pieces, and hoping you're doing well. Mate and I might be headed through your way at some point, we're trying to do 10 trips in 12 months. We'll see.
Have a good one!
