Well, amazingly I just realized that the last journal I posted was at the end of 2017... So I guess it's high time to replace it. :)

I'll keep this one brief, since I'm about to head out to a local fur's NYE event: to all those that I interacted with over this year, it has been a pleasure. There have been a lot of laughs, a lot of lewdness (yay!) and sadly, from my end, a lot of loss.

The good: worked with many amazing artists on commissions, wrote some fun/sexy stories. Helped our local furry con achieve a few records. Played some fantastic games (and am finding that indie titles now appeal to me a lot more than mainstream/AAA games). Did a bunch of work around the house that I'd been putting off

The bad: The loss of 3 pets within the space of a month (2 fancy rats and one of my cats whom I've had for 13 years.) Working my tail off in many different ways and letting myself get overworked and over-stressed. Not pushing back on things, even when I should.

The realistic: 2019 is likely going to be just as much work as 2018, although I will continue to do my best to use my experiences from this year and better prepare and analyze things before tackling them. I want to complete at least a couple more in-canon tales this year; it's fun to come up with new storylines and definitely will keep with that, but some of the bigger stories in my mind want their turn in the sun. :)

If I could complete all the canon stories this year, that would be amazing... and then I could see where else the trail would take me. :)

Oh, and one more thing, before the year is out... there is a big kind-of-secret in the works, that with any luck will be revealed in the next few months... ^.^
